Price increases in the abrasive market

At Abtec we have been experiencing price increases from abrasive manufacturers throughout the year. We have been advised by all of our abrasive manufacturers of significant price increases in raw materials, energy and transport costs.
This will lead to increases in the price of all abrasive products and in many cases by at least 7%.
We have 3 suggestions to help you save in the upcoming months:
Suggestion 1. Make the most of spreading the cost of your purchase with 'PayPal Pay in 3'. Spread the cost by paying 3 interest-free payments on eligible purchases. For example, by purchasing products in December spread the cost of the purchase and save a further 8% by buying before the price increase. Suggestion 2. Why not access our generous product discounts shown on our product pages to maximise your savings and by purchasing early to save on price increases. If a discount is not shown please contact our sales team for details of discounts. Suggestion 3. The cheapest abrasive product may not be the most cost-effective. The technology behind the production of abrasive grain, bond and backing has improved dramatically over recent years. In many cases, conventional abrasive products have been superseded by more efficient products. This has led to a better return on investment (ROI) in the use of these products. The ROI can include improved finish, less downtime, faster machining, less thermal damage, improved operator efficiency, a cleaner environment and a safer working process.
