Non-reinforced cut-off wheels are only designed for use on fixed base machines, where the work is securely clamped, the wheel is adequately guarded and operating on a controlled cutting plane. They are suitable for use in dry or wet conditions, depending on bond type. Abtec uses semi-friable aluminium oxide abrasive offering fast cutting rates, cool and burn free cutting and is ideal for cutting all metals. 

Norton Toros XGP Non-reinforced cutting wheels feature a special combination of abrasive blends to provide high durability with an excellent cutting capability. Perfect for lab applications and suitable for all steels.

Material applications:

• High alloyed steel. HSS.
• Soft steels.
• Stainless steel (Inox)

Non-reinforced discs can be used under the following conditions:

• The machine must be fixed not portable.
• The work piece must be rigidly clamped.
• The disc speed must not be greater than 80 M/S.
• Non-reinforced discs can be used for most tool room applications but never on portable machines.
