Crankshaft grinding makes special demands on the grinding wheel since fillet radii and thrust bearing faces have to be ground as well as the journal diameters. Abtec vitrified crankshaft wheels using our unique specification 79A 602 L5V112/50 has been specially formulated to meet the tight dimensional tolerances required when used on Schou, Prince and AMC machines. For other machines our stock product range can be modified by machining recesses, peripheral shapes or changing the hole size and are modified to F.E.P.A. Safety Standards. Paper blotters will be supplied with each wheel.  The spindle speed of your machine must not exceed the maximum RPM speed of the wheel.  More on training in the use of cutting and grinding wheels........
