Abtec Industries Limited a specialist in precision abrasive and measuring products moves into purpose built premises located in Cambridgeshire. Heavy investment in grinding and cutting wheels enables the company to service a growing demand for its products. On-site abrasive wheel training is added to the portfolio of services provided by Abtec.

2008 In the spring of 2008 with the purchase of additional premises Abtec open a Training Centre dedicated to improving abrasive wheel safety. Delegates are able not only to receive training in safety but also the ability to test cutting and grinding discs on various materials from hardened steels to composite products. More information! |

2009 In January a new updated catalogue containing details of the Abtec range of bonded abrasives, coated abrasives, abrasives for stone and diamond and CBN superabrasives is published (view here!).In September Tyrolit ( a world renowned manufacturer of precision abrasives) appoint Abtec Industries as a 'Precision Dealer' within the United Kingdom.
