Grit 36 is ideal for stock (weld) removal and grits 60 -120 are more suited to the removal of imperfections and blending work. An outstanding quick change sanding disc range for general use applications, including blending light welds, breaking edges and removing parting lines and machine marks. These versatile discs can be used for working mild contours as well as flat surfaces and are most effective when used with pneumatic tools.

Abrasive Types:
Aluminium Oxide: Most popular for general applications, mild steel, low carbon steel and other ferrous metals. Good performance and economical. Fast cutting and long life. Can be used on flat or contoured surfaces.
Zirconia. High stock removal on coarse grits, performs well on stainless steel. Zirconia's inherent feature of cooler cutting when grinding makes it a much more durable and hard wearing grain than aluminium oxide and less likely to discolour stainless steel. Use heavy pressure for optimum performance.
Ceramic. Micron size particles break off during grinding producing many, new self-sharpening cutting points. Very high and fast stock removal on exotic and hard alloys, stainless steel and titanium. Outlast Aluminium oxide and Zirconia in many applications. Runs cooler than conventional abrasive.
